Brazil registers 889 deaths in the last 24 hours; total reaches 423,229 deaths

Brazil recorded 889 deaths caused by covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to a bulletin released this Monday (10/5) by the Ministry of Health. With the update released today, the total number of deaths caused by the disease in the country rose to 423,229 . The ministry also reports that, in the same period, 25,200 diagnoses of the new coronavirus were reported. Thus, the total number of covid-19 cases reached 15,209,990.
According to the bulletin, 13,759,125 people recovered after contracting covid-19, and another 1,027,636 are being monitored.
